Remembering and Celebrating the Civil Rights Movement and Martin Luther King Jr.
GMS students and staff are taking this week to learn and celebrate the struggles of the Civil Rights Movement in the US, 1954-1968. Through lessons, activities, discussions and readings we are learning about some of the most historical events like Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, lunch counter sit-ins, Bus boycotts, assassinations, and the Voting Rights Act.
Wrestling Tournament has a great turnout and great fundamental wrestling
GMS wrestlers took on a bunch of local schools at the annual Middle School Wrestling Tourney. With some top places being claimed by GMS it was a great day.
