Victoria Gray and Zander Ulam are the GMS and Geneseo Rotary Club Students of the Month. Both are 7th graders, and have gone above and beyond to make GMS better every day. 

7th grade critique each other’s Africa trade route. 

Orion wins 7th grade 26-8.  Geneseo wins 8th grade 26-16.

7th grade take a loss 47-30.  8th grade wins 25-18.

WQAD News Channel 8, along with Blackhawk Bank and Trust, came to GMS today to surprise 7th grade math teacher Taylor Mathew with a “My Favorite Teacher” Award. Mr. Mathew was nominated by 8th grader Thomas Robinson for his commitment and service displayed teaching math in 7th grade, his dedication while coaching track and football, and his focus on putting students first every day. Every time an educator in Geneseo Schools is honored, either internally or externally, all of us take pride and celebrate as a team of professionals committed to Teach, Learn, Care. Congratulations Taylor, you deserve it!
