Our Varsity team lost a tough match 180-170 that went down to the last question. The JV squad took down Alwood in an amazing almost shut out performance.

Our very own Mrs. Jenn Johnson, Life Skills Classroom one-on-one Aid, was honored by News Channel 8 today with the Pay It Forward award.  She was nominated for her involvement in Rett Syndrome Research, which affects our student Paige Hamer in 8th grade.  Mrs. Johnson and a team of women will be going to Florida later this month to run in the Disney Princess Half-Marathon to fund research in the cure of Rett Syndrome.  Whether you purchased a flower in the cafeteria, came to the Fun Run in the fall, attended the Polar Express movie at Christmas, came to the Trivia Night in January, bought from the wrestling concessions, or just donated time or money, you have been part of the solution & THANK YOU.  Be on the look-out for the WQAD Channel 8 newscast or on Facebook for the whole story.  And if you see Mrs. Johnson around be sure to congratulate her on this honor.
