GMS students and staff came back to school on January 4th and attended an all-school assembly where they were “Cheered” back into learning shape by some outstanding adults. Some of the topics discussed were Energy, Focus, Goals and Expectations. What a great start to semester 2!
Evan Wolfe, a former Geneseo graduate, visited all 7th grade Geography classes today to bring South America to life. He studied abroad in Brazil and brought that experience to GMS students in a very unique and engaging experience.
The 6th grade Chorus and Band performed to a packed house on December 10. They did a phenomenal job!
36 GMS students competed today in the annual Geography Bee. The competition is intense and the winner will move on to our regional and possibly state level. Good luck GeoBee contestants.
GMS wrestling pulls off home victory!
GMS 7th and 8th grade Choir and Band performed their Winter Concert pieces tonight in the Geneseo High School Gym. The audience was packed with supportive family and friends for an outstanding example of musical talent and hard work.
The local chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored Mitchel Benhart and Brynn Johnson as Geneseo Middle School’s “Youth Citizen” award winners. Congratulations Mitchel and Brynn! They were selected from the GMS staff for their citizenship, service, academics, and more.
