7th and 8th grade bands and choirs performed incredible music to usher in the holidays. Well done to the Swing Choir and Jazz Band on some extended entertainment, and thank you Ms. Warren and Mr. Versluis for your hard work and love of music, it really shows. 

7th grade had a hard fought game with a close loss, 8th grade played a back and forth lead changing game that ended 34-40 with a Dixon win.

Congratulations to the Middle School Lego League Teams for their performances at Saturday’s competition. The middle school team of Sylvia Baumgardner, Maddie Newkirk, Anna Poel, Maya Bieneman, Kobe Duda, Andrew Cotty, Clayton Baum, Nathan McAvoy, Josie Peters and Taylor Davis competed in four contests, taking first place in the Core Values competition.

The Ultrasonics Middle School Team of Olivia Diericks, Megan Bowers, Aubrey VanKerrebroeck, Nate Ryerson, Jack Snyder, Ethan Ernst, Tyler Gehl, Emma DeBaene,
Hayden Spranger and Ashley Rickey were named “Champion” of their division and have qualified for the state Lego League tournament at the University of Illinois in Champaign in January.
