GMS defeated Glenview at the GHS track tonight. 

Kade Ariano and Katie Banister are our 8th grade Rotary Club Students of the Month for this month. These are two outstanding young leaders and they make us proud by serving others in positive ways. 

Mrs. Strohm’ Family and Consumer Science classes and Mrs. Gale’s ELA classes hosted preK students today in a child development unit final project. Students created hands on games and used iBooks to create digital children’s stories to engage the preschoolers in learning activities. Skills like fine motor skills, word and picture recognition all were practiced today. 

Lots of incredible performances on Friday night by 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands and choirs, as well as jazz band and swing choir. Saturday had great solos and ensembles with lots of 1 Scores, well done to our young talented artists. 

The Student Council and Cafeteria Staff worked together to put on a fantastic National Breakfast Day this morning at GMS. Students were served fruits, grains, dairy and more to encourage healthy morning habits and good Nutrition!
