Geneseo wins 8th grade,  John Deere wins 7th grade.

GMS students and staff took some time in ELA and Social Studies classes this week to remember the tragic terrorist attacked on September 11th, 2001 which took around 3,000 lives in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. 

GEF approved a grant last year for 6th grade headphones (for all the students who don’t have, lose, or break them during the year). 6th Grade would like to recognize and thank GEF for this approval. Here are some attached photos of us putting them to good use to enrich and extend our instruction and learning in the classroom!

Builders Club gets under way today, with student leaders motivating a new group of their peers to join the club that lives to give. 

Volleyball girls take on a new style of warm up for practice today, sharing some dance moves learned in PE classes.

GMS takes some top finishes in all races,  with Lacey Laxton taking 1st place in 8th grade girls. Fantastic race GMS, thanks to all the coaches, parents and fans for supporting GMS cross country.

Great Care went into a 24 hour GMS supply and food drive going south to Texas this week. Unbelievable effort, kindness, and care for those that are in need. Thank you Gms community.
