GMS 7th grade Boys place 2nd as a team in the 4A 2021-22 State Finals.

– Jocelyn C won the 8th girls Pole Vault State Championship, Jerry M won the 7th boys 800, Finn S won the 7th boys Pole Vault, and our 7th grade girls 4×1 took 1st place. 4 1st place finishes.

– Bee Scheider won the IESA Scholar Attitude Award

– A total of 30+ medals were won by GMS Track and Field Athletes at state, placing from 1st to 8th!

Students received $20 and $50 gift cards for putting in hours of practice in MAP Accelerator and leveling up to grow their math skills. Congratulations!

Here are the final standings after a long and hot day at Morton for IESA Sectionals: 8th Girls = 1st; 8th Boys = 1st; 7th Girls = 1st; 7th Boys = T-2nd. Due to Covid our middle schoolers have never been to a sectional meet before, Way to Go GMS!
