8th graders Inspired to dive deeper into Career Exploration this week
In Mrs. Plant’s and Ms Bonham’s ELA classes, students explored Career interest, researched fields of study and Career paths, and engaged in a virtual Career fair to learn from those working in fields of interest. It’s an awesome week to see our soon to be high schoolers engaged in a “what’s next wake up” in their lives!

Countdown to the Iditarod kicks off in 6th grade ELA
Students conduct an action research activity with teammates in the GMS halls to learn about the incredible endurance race called the Iditarod. Students will write Mushers (racers), research the training and the dogs that pull those sleds, and engage with Mrs. Reakes and Ms Garber on the history and impact of this amazing annual event. 16 days left until the race begins!
