When I read this book, I realized how important football is. It was a bit disconnected from the human element, though. But I decently liked it, and I appreciated the resilience of the football players. It was really interesting!

This book was very good. I liked how it described the team enviroment the boys had, and it taught me something new about football. I doubt I will read more sports books, but this book was interesting in a good way. I would reccomend it to sports fans or people who want to learn more about the Deaf community.

A great book bringing to light that athletes and people in general who are disabled can be undefeated and that a disability isn’t always a restraint but a tool.

This book delves deeply into the intricacies of football, often at the expense of its characters, who felt somewhat like afterthoughts. I found myself disappointed, as I struggled to connect with the human elements of the story. While it certainly has its uplifting moments and provides valuable insights into the challenges faced by deaf individuals, I wish for a stronger focus on the personal narratives that could have made the reading experience more engaging.

Overall, I thought this book was pretty good. It felt like a was reading a giant news article. I was surprised that none of the players got injured in the first season but there were multiple major injuries in the second. I liked how the book discussed the history of deaf people in education.
