I loved this book! I thought it was crazy that Jasper lost most of his memory, and the store took it as an opportunity to keep working instead of cutting the guy some slack. Although it also makes sense because (SPOILER ALERT) I can see why the manager would want weak employees, so he’d be hard to prevent from opening the portal further. Crazy plot twist by the way! I wasn’t thinking he’d be a horseman at all. I just thought he was a jerk. Jasper and Kyle’s relationship was super cute, even though it was obvious that she was gonna end up being the ‘shadow girl’ in the picture. Overall, I completely recommend this light read.
Overall, I really liked Aisle Nine. I like the concept that the portal just showed up in ordinary places. I also liked how it shows the effects of corruption in capitalist societies. My favorite part is the end when Kyle, Jasper, and Lara are exploring the world together.
