I really liked this book. I thought it was such a sweet story, especially how Aria and Neon met. I also enjoyed the events being told backwards, like a reflection instead of the traditional chronological way. I would recommend this book to others.

I really enjoyed the way it was written; the characters had so much life! Reynolds had a really nice portrayal of what it is like to be young and in love, while also displaying the nervousness of both of the people in the couple. But there were some places where it was a bit slow. But a very good read over all.

I thought this book was fine, although a bit boring at times. I thought the way it was written was very interesting with how it went backwards in time. I don’t recall ever reading a book like that and it intrigued me. It kind of confused me at times and it was a bit hard to follow along, but other times it worked well with the story.

Overall, I thought this book was okay. I do really liked Jason Reynolds’ writing style, though. I thought it was interesting that the book was in reverse chronological order. I also like how Maetro and Aria paint the house to be supportive of Aria’s little sister.
