We¬†read and wrote about Martin Luther King Jr. last week. Then, we received a letter from the governor of¬†Wilkeyville. The town wanted a Martin Luther King Jr. monument, but they didn’t have a lot of money to buy supplies. We each received $10 to buy supplies. We went shopping in our classroom store of recycled materials. Then, we used what we knew about MLK Jr. to create a monument.¬†
