About Mrs. Gladfelter

Welcome to first grade! I am thrilled to begin my eighth year teaching, and my sixth year teaching first grade. I can’t wait to meet our 1G Team!

I am the second oldest in a great big family and I love sunflowers, hand lettering/crafting, running outside, and peanut butter. My favorite subject in school is language arts, and I enjoy picture books (especially Elephant & Piggie). I completed my Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist May 2017 so I can further share my love for literacy with my students. I am a big Disney fan, so imagine my surprise when my best friend asked me to marry him at Disney World! We tied the June 2017.
