We read the book Planting a Rainbow by Louis Ehlert. Then, we created our own rainbow garden in groups. We had to work in teams to follow these guidelines: 
1. Every color of the rainbow must be in your team’s garden.¬¨‚Ć
2. Every flower in the garden must have all four parts: flower, stem, leaves, and roots. 
3. Every flower has to be 0-15 cubes high. 
We even had to complete a checklist in our groups to make sure we didn’t forget any of the garden requirements. Many of us had to “think again” to fix their garden to match the rules. We had fun!
