This week we read Eric Carle’s The Very Quiet Cricket. We also partner read and answered discussion questions with the nonfiction book Insects. To conclude our short pint-sized Insect Unit, we wrote our own narrative story – The Very (adjective) (insect) – with characters, a setting, a problem, and a solution.
