Duplex (Front | Back) Printing in 10.6 with Office 2008
To print front and back in Office 2008 on a Mac running Snow Leopard you must adjust the Page Layout Setting in word.  First you must make sure you are printing to a device that is capable of duplex printing and one that has this featured turned on.  In my example I am using a Kyocera Task Alfa 520i which does support duplex printing.
1. In Word Click on File Print.
2.  Make sure you a printing to a Duplex capable Printer.  Now Click on the third drop down choice and choose Layout.
3.  Finally Choose the Two-Sided Option and Choose Long Edge.
The edge refers to where the next page follows on from with your print remaining upright. For example long edge will mean that you turn from one page to the next along the long edge of the paper, much like an A4 magazine or standard brochure.
