Hello Sixth Grade, I’m Mrs. Henderson!

• I have been teaching in Geneseo for 16 years! My first 10 years were spent teaching 4th Grade at Northside Elementary.
• I have 5 kids! Hayley (31) & Trevor, Maddie (29), Lilly (27) & Logan, Heath (5), and Faith (23), three granddaughters Lanie (4 years old), Blair (2 monthyears), and Colette (18 months), and one grandson Brock (4 months)
• My Husband (Eric) and I like to watch all Geneseo sports, go to Zac Brown Band concerts with our family, and go on walks.
• I graduated from Illinois State University with my teaching degree (a long time ago). Go Redbirds!
• I received my National Board Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist.
• I finished my Learning Behavior Specialist 1 from Western Illinois University in May 2020.
• I finished my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics Education from the University of Texas at Arlington the summer of 2021.
• I finished my Educational Leadership Specialist in Administration (Principal/Administration) from Northwest Missouri State University this past summer 2024
• My favorite morning drink is a Energy Tea from Reap & Sow.
