In reading we have been focusing on writing captions and labels while reading the story The Storm. We took those skills and used them in two science experiments… weather related! We made Color Volcanoes and a Tornado in a Bottle. We drew pictures of our experiments and wrote captions under our pictures.    

 

On our first day of school, we started a Time Capsule. We measured our friends with string, traced and colored our hand print, and finished a quick survey of our favorite things. When we finish our self portrait tomorrow, we are going to wrap up all of our work and stick a label on it …
