Thanks for your patience in getting these results! Both teams gave it their all and ran great races.  

The girls team placed 4th, with Bella Curcuru in 10th place, Jeslen Rink in 22nd, Elanor DeBlieck in 26th, Emma DeBaene in 31st, Ella Toom in 32nd, Madison Simms in 37th and Katlyn Seaman in 45th.

The boys team also took a 4th place finish, with Cooper Schaad in 8th place, Dylan Gehl in 15th, Jake Rapps in 26th, Sam Mosbarger in 34th, Tim Sebastian in 37th, Max Johnson in 44th and Eric States in 46th.

In addition, Bella Curcuru, Cooper Schaad and Dylan Gehl qualified to run at the IESA State Meet on Saturday.  Congrats Bella, Cooper and Dylan!!  We are so excited to cheer you on in Normal on Saturday.  And congrats to our entire cross country team on a great season!

Congratulations to our teams on a great run in the mud and the rain! Lots of PRs were recorded tonight in spite of the conditions. And thank you so much to our parent volunteers that braved the rain and the cold to make sure we hosted the conference meet successfully!

Our girls team are 2019 Heartland Conference Champions!! This is the 13th consecutive year that the girls have been conference champs! Medalists in the varsity girls race were Bella Curcuru in 4th place, Jeslen Rink in 8th place and Elanor DeBlieck in 9th place.

Our boys team placed 3rd in conference. Medalists were Cooper Schaad in 5th place and Dylan Gehl in 8th place.

In the open races, we had some fantastic times as well. In the girls open, top ten finishers were Ella Toom in 1st, Annie Maxwell in 2nd, Emma Veloz in 3rd, Rachael Roodhouse in 4th, Allison Reade in 5th, Brooke Boone in 6th and Gia Ritter in 10th.

In the boys race top finishers were Sam Mosbarger in 3rd, Max Johnson in 9th and Dyllan Staffeldt in 10th.

Congratulation the cross country team on a great regular season, we are excited to see what they can do in the post season.

Our varsity teams next compete in Erie at the Panther Invite on Tuesday.

Some athletes were asking to see their top time and 2 mile average thus far into the season, and since we only send out that info on the Top 10 boys and girls in the parent letter, we are posting everyone’s top 2 mile time and 2 mile average here.

The Leafs Cross Country team ran another great race at the Pioneer Invite in Milan last night.  The varsity girls team are the invite champions!  Top 10 finishers in the varsity girls race were Bella Curcuru in 7th place, Elanor DeBlieck in 9th place and Emma DeBaene in 10th place.

The varsity boys team placed 3rd at the meet, and Cooper Schaad was the Varsity boys champion!  Also finishing in the top for the varsity was Dylan Gehl in 8th place and Jake Rapps in 13th place.

The Geneseo girls dominated the open race, with Geneseo taking 9 of the top ten spots!  Top ten finishers were Ella Toom in 1st place, Annie Maxwell in 2nd place, Emma Veloz in 3rd place, Allison Reade in 4th place, Brooke Boone in 5th place, Rachael Roodhouse in 6th place, Jill Corso in 8th place, Braelyn Wyffels in 9th place and Gia Ritter in 10th place.

Our boys had a good showing in the open race as well, with Sam Mosbarger in 5th place, Max Johnson in 6th place, Dyllan Staffeldt in 7th place and Tyson Duda in 9th place.

Congratulations to the team on a great race in Galesburg tonight! The girls varsity team placed 4th and the boys varsity team placed 6th.

Bella Curcuru medaled in 14th place in the girls varsity race. In the girls open race, medal winners were Annie Maxwell in 3rd place, Emma Veloz in 6th place and Rachael Roodhouse in 10th place.

In the varsity boys race, medalists were Jake Rapps in 9th place and Cooper Schaad in 14th place. Open race top finishers for the boys were Sam Mosbarger in 14th place and Dyllan Staffeldt in 17th place.

We had 344 Twinkies brought in for our Twinkie Day! What a great pre- meet practice. Here are some pictures of our “Twins”.

Great job to our athletes tonight and another hot meet! Just think how much those times are going to go down when the mercury does!

Our girls team took first place by ONE point against Erie-Prophetstown!! A great example of how ALL of our top 7 girls had a part in earning that first place! Moline Invite Results

The team ran well last night at a warm race in Bettendorf!  The girls team placed fourth overall and the boys team placed 6th.  Both team results and individual results can be found using the link below.  Within the link click “girls” or “boys” to see results by gender.
