The 2013-2014 Maplettes attended UDA camp this year at Illinois State University.  

It was an eventful week filled with team bonding, training, technique classes, practices, and performances of three new dances learned in a short amount of time.  

I am very proud of our Maplettes as they brought home a Spirit Stick each night for team unity and spirit. ¬¨‚ĆThe team also earned 27 blue ribbons (the highest) and 3 red ribbons (second highest). ¬¨‚ĆWith the total points earned for their performances they were able to earn a trophy with the the rating of, “Superior.”

We also brought home an additional Spirit Stick and Claire Yerkey was awarded with the ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć ¬¨‚Ć “Pin it Forward” award given to only a select few of the 350 girls from15 dance teams. ¬¨‚ĆThe Maplettes worked very hard and held together as a team throughout the week and should be commended for their unity!
