I hope that you enjoyed a Happy Halloween weekend! \u00ac\u2020As we turn the page and look towards the Holiday season, I would like to share with you an update on our Christmas Program preparations and outline for you the opportunities available to your child. The programs will be held on Monday, December 15th<\/sup> in the High School Auditorium<\/strong>. Just as last year, we will have 3 programs. Kindergarten and first grade will be at 6:00 p.m., second and third grades will be at 6:45 p.m., and fourth and fifth grades will be at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n As of this week, we have begun working on our program tunes in all classes. In second and third grades we are preparing for a program entitled Toys!. <\/em>Fourth and fifth grades are preparing for Jingle Bell Jukebox!. <\/em>\u00ac\u2020Students in second through fifth grades may audition for additional parts.<\/strong> 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> grade must audition THIS WEEK, <\/strong>and 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> grade may audition through NEXT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n 2nd<\/sup>-5th<\/sup> Grade Parents:<\/strong> Your child may have brought home a three-page packet with information and materials for auditions regarding his or her program. There are additional packets and Audition Sign-Up sheets outside the Northside Music Room. If your child is interested in trying out, please have your child sign up for a time that is during his or her morning or lunch\/recess time. Available times for each grade level are outlined on the sign-up sheet for your child to see. If your child is interested, please review and fill out the include form(s) and have your child bring the completed forms to his or her audition. I have included these audition packets in my email should you find it helpful. I also have posted\u00ac\u2020the packets along with scripts, music notation, and practice tracks on the pages\u00ac\u2020above this message.<\/p>\n Students in all grades<\/strong> will also have the opportunity to participate in an additional musical ensemble, which will rehearse during specified lunch and recess times.
