Hello!<\/p>\n
I hope that you and your family have enjoyed your Spring Break.\u00ac\u2020 I wanted to give you an update on events at Northside, and also share with you several additional opportunities that are available to your child.<\/p>\n
We had a wonderful Fine Arts Day!\u00ac\u2020 We had three acts between which students rotated in the morning.\u00ac\u2020 This included the \u201a\u00c4\u00faMaple Leaf Squares\u201a\u00c4\u00f9 who spoke about, demonstrated, and taught basic information about America\u201a\u00c4\u00f4s original folk dance: The Square Dance.\u00ac\u2020 Mr. Puentes sang and played on his acoustic guitar a variety of songs.\u00ac\u2020 Finally, Mrs. DeGarmo and several high school students demonstrated the art of pottery, making several examples that will be displayed in the art room and shared with students.\u00ac\u2020 During the morning, the Middle School Jazz Band and Swing Choir performed a number of exciting selections for us, and in the afternoon we were honored to have the Junior\/Senior Choir come sing for us a wide variety of music.\u00ac\u2020 To end the day\u201a\u00c4\u00f4s festivities, our two Northside ensembles performed their pieces for the school.\u00ac\u2020 Thank you to everyone who assisted in helping to make this day a very positive one for our students!<\/p>\n
