Dear Northside Parents,<\/p>\n
Thank you to everyone who attended the Superhero Fun Run<\/em> last Sunday! We had beautiful weather, and many students participating from all the schools. Here is an update of the remaining Northside music events for the spring. I have also outlined for you several additional music opportunities available to your child.<\/p>\n The Northside Spring Programs will take place on Wednesday, May 11th<\/sup><\/em>. 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> grades <\/strong>will perform at 9:00 a.m., 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd <\/sup>grades <\/strong>at 10:15 a.m., and Kindergarten and 1st<\/sup> grades <\/strong>at 2:15 p.m. Practice tracks and music notation are located here on\u00ac\u2020the page with your child’s grade. \u00ac\u2020Monjaro Studios<\/em> will again be filming, and DVD\u201a\u00c4\u00f4s will be available for purchase! Please see the attached handout.<\/p>\n 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> grades <\/strong>will perform at two additional concerts before the Northside Programs. First, both 4th<\/sup> and 5th<\/sup> grades<\/strong> will have the opportunity to sing as part of the \u201a\u00c4\u00faAll Unit Choir Concert\u201a\u00c4\u00f9 next Monday, May 2nd<\/sup><\/em> at 7:00 p.m. in the High School gym. Please arrive by 6:45. 5th<\/sup> grade <\/strong>will perform the following Monday, May 9th<\/sup><\/em> in the \u201a\u00c4\u00faRecorder Band Recruitment Concert.\u201a\u00c4\u00f9 This will be the same time in the same place- 7:00 p.m. in the H.S. gym, arrive by 6:45.<\/p>\n 1st<\/sup>-5th<\/sup> grade students<\/strong> are invited to participate in an additional instrumental ensemble. This ensemble will rehearse mainly during lunch and recess times during the next three weeks, and will perform at your child\u201a\u00c4\u00f4s program on May 11th<\/sup>.
