Hello Geneseo,<\/p>\n
I\u201a\u00c4\u00f6\u221a\u00d1\u221a\u00a5m Miss Heimstreet and I will be student teaching with Mr. LaCroix this fall. My hometown is in Wisconsin but I study at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. I am a big music nerd and absolutely adore singing. Over the years I\u201a\u00c4\u00f6\u221a\u00d1\u221a\u00a5ve performed in many different groups experiencing an array of styles from jazz and serial twelve tone pieces, to Renaissance chansons, opera, and everything in between. (Though, while I\u201a\u00c4\u00f6\u221a\u00d1\u221a\u00a5m driving my car I have been known to rock out to country and pop songs as well.)<\/p>\n
Music is a powerful and creative form of communication. I especially love working with choirs because of the collaborative aspect; everyone working together, focusing on the music to form an incredible and lasting experience.<\/p>\n
