FALL FRUIT FUNDRAISER – INFORMATION
2011 GPAC Fall Fruit Fundraiser:
Purpose of this fundraiser: The Fall Fruit Sale is a fundraiser for the Geneseo Performing Arts Council to enhance the band, choral, speech and theatre programs, and to help provide a positive experience for our students. The proceeds of this sale will be used towards activities such as music lessons, madrigal dinner, recital accompanists, marching band, and miscellaneous high school, middle school and elementary school music, speech and theatre needs.
Product Information: We will be ordering fruit this year from MinnTex Citrus, Inc. out of Monticello, IA and trail mixes from The Colorado Nut Company out of Denver, CO.
Selling dates: Our Fall Fruit Fundraiser will kick-off on Monday, October 25th and will end on Monday, November 7th.
ALL ORDERS MUST BE PREPAID AND TURNED IN ON ONE OF THE FOLLOWING DATES:
Thursday, Nov. 3rd From 3pm-7pm High School New Band Rm
Friday, Nov. 4th From 3pm-7pm High School New Band Rm
Monday, Nov 7th From 3:30pm-7:30pm Middle School Cafeteria
Students can turn in packets at either location. Before turning in your packet please double check your order.
Make sure your orders match your $$ collected. We cannot accept partial payments. You may write one check for your entire order. This will save time during the collection of funds.
PLEASE… PLEASE …PLEASE … DO NOT GIVE PACKET/FORM/MONEY TO THE TEACHERS.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
The fruit will be ready for pick up on Saturday, December 10th from 8am – 12 noon at Farmers Mutual Electric Company, 1004 South Chicago Street, Geneseo, IL. If you are unable to pick up your order at this time, please make arrangements for someone else to pick it up for you! Rain, shine, snow, sleet,
etc. the pickup time will remain the same.
OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER: If you would like to help in any way with this fundraiser PLEASE call Sandy @ 309-236-6729:
1) to work at collection tables
2) to sort fruit and set up for fruit pick up – Friday, Dec 19th
3) to help distribute fruit orders Saturday, Dec. 10th from 7am to 1pm (donuts available!)
